MCA are delighted to announce that we have chosen St Catherine’s Hospice as our charity partnership for the coming year.
St Catherine’s Hospice was established in 1983 and are experts in end of life care. They are the leading provider of hospice care in Sussex and East Surrey, helping around 2,100 terminally ill people, their family members, friends, and carers each year. Their skilled teams are on hand to support people living with terminal illness in their homes, at their Day Hospice and on their wards.
It could be a bath, a favourite meal, or helping someone manage their pain. For them, hospice care is whatever their patients and those closest to them need it to be. It’s different for everyone, and they empower their patients to make their own decisions whenever they can.
They also give emotional, spiritual and welfare support to anyone affected by death and bereavement.
As a local company, St Catherine’s Hospice has a close connection to several members off staff at MCA so we are delighted to support them over the coming year by participating in various fundraising activities.
In October, one of our young apprentices, will be running the London Marathon on behalf of the Hospice.
Adam is a keen runner and has already completed three races this year – the Brighton Half Marathon, the Gatwick Half Marathon, and Mud Monsters 10km so training is well under way.
